Why "Eisla"?

Named after the inventor of the PCB.

Where Eisler believed electronics should be printed, not wired — we believe they should be described, not designed.

In 1936, an Austrian refugee named Paul Eisler sat in a London boarding house with a radical idea: what if electronics could be printed rather than hand-wired?

He built the world's first printed circuit board — the invention that makes every modern electronic device possible. He sold the rights for £1 and wasn't recognised as the inventor for 35 years.
